When we adults think of fitness or a healthy lifestyle – we think and imagine it as following a boring diet, portion control or maybe working out tirelessly in the gym. It just seems so much work! In this post, I will tell you How Gymnastics for Your Kids’ Mind and Body is beneficial.

Gymnastics for Mind and Body

With kids, it comes naturally – for them remaining physically active comes by default! Whether that is playing in recess, running around the house, playing football in the park or just dancing to their favorite beats. Remaining active isn’t a problem – the problem is that we as parents are not able to provide them the right kind of stimulating environment and the lifestyle the children should be able to follow.

While looking for some activity classes for Agamveer and Baani, I came to know about The Little gym. Luckily, for me, one of their centers is located very near to our home. When I read more about it – I knew instantly that I had to explore and know more about it. As a parent, taking my children to a new activity class is always full of skepticism.

A Parent’s viewpoint on Gymnastics

The first thing that I really liked was how both, Agamveer and Baani, were made comfortable and warm in the new atmosphere. Baani, my little one, is a little shy, to begin with, strangers and so the mentors – let her adjust to her surroundings and take her own sweet time. The place is colorful and bright and instantly catches the attention with its aesthetic set up.

Agamveer and Baani did not take a lot of time to mingle with the mentors. The session was filled with a lot of physical activities. The peppy music and funny moments between kids and mentors help maintain interest. Both the kids had a blast while doing what they like the best – Having Fun!

It was a joy to see both my kids jumping, learning new acts, having fun – all while getting fit. The mentors are amiable and are thorough with their knowledge of gymnastics sessions. They are careful and meticulous in giving equal attention to all the children present in the class.

Also, what I really appreciate is how mentors are conscious of every child’s safety. Every child’s safety is the utmost priority in each class and proper care is undertaken.

I also observed that – demeanor of the complete staff at The Little Gym is extremely friendly and ensures that every child or parent, who walks through their front door feels welcome and at ease.

As a parent, I am completely convinced that gymnastics at the little gym, provides not only physical fitness to your children but also helps them develop holistically – which helps them grow socially and mentally too.

  3. When I was in preteens my father, who was a national level sports champion, made sure that we siblings start physical training. But considering the growing obesity in kids I wish to start gymnastics fir my daughter soon. She is already so flexible she just needs direction.
